CANDLE
Lit up,
Luminous,
And guiding us down the path.
Staring,
At the night wonders,
Hanging out on a limb.
The sun rises on a new day,
And the light is extinguished.
Who needs their own light,
When they are already outshined?
Is what some people say,
Dimming the world around them,
And using that as evidence.
